Several times now I have set off the Check Engine Light doing all of the following....
A) hauling about 14K lbs trailer
B) Driving for several hours
C) Pulling over to Fuel
D) Turning the truck off during fueling
E) after fueling, idling for a few minutes
F) Starting the trip again
G) Hauling up a grade when the tranny downshifts - then the engine light trips
All temps (EGT, Engine and Tranny) are well within normal ranges.
The light will later (after being shut off for the night) reset it's self. I don't have a code reader (maybe I should get one), and wonder what is causing this. Any ideas?
Oh, I have the Edge set on level 2 with the low boost setting at 3.
