OK everyone has been very good at giving me input on my other thread so now I have another scenario for everyone to respond to. I am going to drag my newly aquired project truck into the garage this weekend and remove the injectors. I have read and watched alot of videos that may suggest the rattling in the motor could just be my injectors. So I have decided to try that first, before I really get serious about spending the money on a re-man motor or overhaul. Either way I should put new injectors in either of them. So this is my question: I have a freind that gives me a discount at O-reilly's and I noticed that they sell re-man injectors. I know everybody seems to want to go with Heaths for parts but, O-reilly's is just down the street. Do you think this is a good idea?? Also should I replace all of the glow plugs or just the bad ones(if there are any) at the same time??

x2 If your gonna be in there doing injectors its just as wel to do all glows. Its easy when you have it all apart.

Get Bosch, Stanadyne or Delphi injectors. I am not sure which one is at OReilly. A lot of the part store may not stock it although they say they have it.
For GP, at least ACDelco 60G which should be available in stock at OReilly.
I have not seen Bosch GP at OReilly, last time I got it at PB following IamDave.

I know who makes the O'Reilly injectors. Suggest you go elsewhere to get injectors. The nozzles are worn out nozzles that have been reground to work.

Oh alright I guess I'll spend the big bucks and get the good ones. I think the motor is shot anyway. I just got done backing it in the shed and it was hammerin good!!! Barely able to pull itself forward and back.

If you think the motor is shot, maybe you should determine what the problem is before spending a lot of money on injectors and plugs.
If you have a GMTDScan from EnghMotors, you can shut down the the injectors one by one and be able to tell which one is causing the problem.
