I'm sure this is in here somewhere but there are so many post i can't find the right answer. I have an 05 classic with telescoping mirrors. I want to put the bigger newer mirors on there but had some questions before i ordered them. Is the wiring the same? Do they Mount the same way? Does anybody have the new set and want the old, cause i would be interested in trading. Mine are power heat, turn signals too. Is there any dis advantages of having the newer mirror? I just hate the telescoping when i am towing the camper because they just don't go out far enough to see anything behind you and it seems like the new ones would have better vision. let me know

The new mirrors are DOPE!! They bolt right up and plug right in the existing factory set up. It's about a 30 minute job to do. The thing that is the pain is removing the door panels and even that isn't hard to do, so i would say go for it!

Sweet, now the Next Big question... is OEM worth it or getting one of the aftermarkets better. i saw a picture with side markers in it, im pretty sure those were the aftermarket...
and do the oem have turn signals, heated, and electronic adjustment
also don't you have to do somethying to the oem mirror so they arn't slanted?

I'd get the OEM if it were me, but those ones with side marker lights were kinda cool looking, can't find them right now though, there site took them off

also don't you have to do somethying to the oem mirror so they arn't slanted?You have to put some spacers in where it mounts if you want them leveled. Or you can just leave them slanted doesn't matter
Check ebay or GMPartsDirect, I think the mirrors for your truck are at like $500 right now though because they are so popular.
