Does anyone know if a washer fluid tank will fit on the passenger side of truck the same way it does on the drivers side?

I ask because I want to install the water/meth kit and don't want to add a tank else where on the truck... I'd like to keep it under the hood. (I only plan to use it sled pulling so I don't need much capacity.)

I was looking under the hood today and had that thought. It seems like it should work because what's underneath the air box? Nothing? I just didn't know if it would have to be the mirror image?

Sounds like a nice idea. I am not sure of the fit. Someone would probably know.
Do you use 60/40 mix on the water meth or is it 50/50?
I believe the flash point of neet meth is around 70 deg f. I would make sure it is plenty clear of heat source and have a heat sheild also.
Granted the flash point will go higher when more water is added, but still very exposive.
Is there a way to mount under the bed of the truck by the fuel tank and have a valve on a hose line to the engine?

Why not just suck it outa your factory tank? Then you will have a low level warning too:cool: Be more expensive I suppose to clean your windshield. Duno the answer your your question though, sorry

May be an off-the-wall comment, but would you have to worry about sucking meth fumes into the air box with it situated so close? Chance of problem is probably somewhere between slim and none, but may be something to consider.

Akdiesel - I haven't installed water/meth yet, but when I do I plan on a 50/50 mix.

Ratlover - I want the 50/50 mix, and the way bugs are around here in the summer I don't want to eliminate washer solvent in my tank.

habanero - Meth fumes in the air filter, probably not too much of a concern. What I plan on is a plastic tank hanging down below the air box like the OE washer tank (obviously) with the filler neck extending up above the air box. I think it's a slick idea. A buddy gave me a brand new filler tank today but I don't know if I can make it work.

It'd be awesome if I could get a mirror image duplicate of the OE tank. I suppose that's only good if it would fit. Yes I want my cake and eat it too.

IIRC regular windshield washer fluid is just 25% meth or so and some dye and watewr. I would think your 50/50 would work better actaully?
