I drove a '54 Chevy pick-up, five window, back in high school. A really cool ride--great looking truck IMO. I would put that Duramax/Allison powertrain in a '54 Chevy pick-up or a '56 F-100. Beef the frame, dump the SFA, put a Dana 80 or something similar behind it with 40 spline axles...and there you go...a real hot-rod diesel that goes clackity clack!
