What kind of mpg could expect using 37" tires? I will also get a 6" lift. I go easy on the gas peddle and will have 4.10 gears.

with my 2005 cummings with superlift 6" lift/37-13.50-20 with the edge juice attitude I get about 18 hwy, 14-16 towing 8500lbs trailer. 373 gears and my foot is always on the floor

Big Dog Diesel, is your mileage hand calculated? It sounds almost better than a stock truck. If its really that good I will definitely go with the 37s. How do those 3.73s work with that setup?

You need to wake up. I believe it. It's not that outrageous and the Cummins is known hold mileage pretty well with larger tires. I get 20mpg highway with 35's

Great another MPG war.. Just what we need. I think they all run nice and get decent MPG with any tires.. Is that better?...

I don't put a whole lot of faith in a guy who owns a Cummins and still thinks it's a "Cummings."

I know, I know, it's stupid, and it's shallow of me. But it's a damn pet peeve I guess.

My dad was nearly ready to sign the papers on a Dodge a few years ago when the saleman started singing the praises of the "Cummings deezle." We walked out and told the guy we would find a dealer that deserved to make a sale.

Hoot...really come on now. There is a big difference between 35's on a stock ride height truck...ok sorry you have a leveling kit..... and a 6 in. lifted truck with 37's. Also........your 555 motor gets better mpg than the newer 04.5 and 05's.

My 600 with 315's (almost 35 inches) gets 17-18 in town if you are easy on the go pedal. oh yea cat was removed and borla race muffler inserted in place of the stock muff.

Diesels don't experience the mpg drop off that gas engines do with over sized tires.. I got 14 to 15 mpg in town with 39's on my duramax and a light foot.. Better on the highway.. That's right at what I get now with 315's... My cummins gets over 17 mpg in town, though it's a stock ride height 2wd.. 20 mpg on 37's with a cummins doesn't seem out of line for interstate driving..

My friend bought a 600 cummins when they first came out, auto and 4 wheel drive and the best he ever got was 14 mpg.
