I recently snapped my tie rod, so I'm thinking this had something to do with it. Grey grease all over the passenger side suspension. Took it to a shop I know fairly well to find out what it actually was and how much. Anyone have any experience with this? I imagine I'll have to get another alignment afterwards?

You shouldn't need an alignment because of the cv shaft....That has nothing to do with the steering components on the truck....(I'm assuming you had an alignment done after you replaced the tierod end...

As far as the boot replacement goes, it's a pretty simple job...I'm guessing around an hour labor at most......

Yeah I had the alignment done already, the guy didn't have a price because it was so new at least to his computer, I told him to go ahead and get it (I trust the guy), gonna take it in in the morning. Don't have the time to mess with a dealership and worry about covering my a** for all the aftermarket stuff I have on. Thanks.
