I posted this in the 6.5 forum but I think (?) 6.2's have this T valve too.

My thermostat stuck open. Bought a new thermostat. 30 minute job? Replaced the thermostat in 30 minutes but I had one of those "Oh Shoot" moments while replacing thermostat. While removing the back bolt on the housing I twisted the nut and broke the line that runs to the T valve that is used to check the lift pump. Broke the line flush with the bottom of the brass valve. Please tell me there is an easy fix. A guy is supposed to come look at the truck tomorrow afternoon and possibly buy it. I love Sunday night jobs. Thanks for any help.

If you broke the hose barb of the T valve , cut the hose off behind the crimp and plug the hose with a fitting bolt and clamp for now.if just the hose sheared off peel the piece off and put the hose back on with a clamp.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a brass nipple coming off the T valve or is the line brass all the way to wherever it goes? Or is most of the line rubber? Thanks again
