ive had my predator on 85 for about 8,000 miles now. It definitely will put a hurtin on the tranny depending on how often you can it. I stomp on mine all over town and it definitely slips like a bastard. Suncoast V before the end of the month, then 4 hi launches at every light.

What JMG said, I did mine for a few hundred miles and now I am back on 65 fuel milage went to ....... IMO if you are just cruzing I would stick with the 65

The closer you walk the line, the greater the chance of crossing over. The Pred 85 may be perfectly fine for some, but not others. Depends how aggressively you drive and how much of the power you actually use. I have used the 85HP tune w/o incident, but did not run it excessively hard.

I have mine on the 85 tune for like 5000 miles plus...I have no issues at all....I just make sure to lock the converter before mashing it...If you just mash it in drive the tranny will slip like a ***** right away...Just my 2 cents though..

how do you get the converter to lock?

locks automatically once your in high 3rd i think. somwhere around 55mph.

Or 2-5 if you're in T/H.

:ro) I use the tow/haul button before i mash it .....That locks the converter through i think all the gears..
