I have had my truck for 3 months now. I set the seats when I purchased it for driver 1 and driver 2. For some reason yesterday the driver 1 recall now goes to the "easy exit" setting. I have done nothing to cause this to happen. It is set to "recall on remote" so it has finished moving by the time I get to the truck from across the parking lot.

Driver 2 still is set correctly for my wife but mine has gone crazy!!! Any ideas?

My 2004 does this occasionally as well. I never really noticed it doing this before, but when I purchased the truck it only came with one key. I purchased a second remote, and re-programmed both of them per the instructions on this page a few weeks ago. Sincee then the truck has done some funny things. Right after I reprogrammed it, the radio "lost" all the pre-set stations. The next morning they were back. This weekend we went camping, and I noticed that every other/third time I started the truck, the seat would come farther forward than normal, so I'd move it back to where I normally like it and reset the driver 1 settings. It would hold these until a few more starts, then do it again. Maybe it has something to do with having the camper plugged in, but my truck has a relay in the battery supply line that cuts power to the camper when the key is off. Maybe the voltage spike from that relay clicking open is causing some problems? Definately annoying, and not really an answer to your question, more of a sympathy pain type of post!

This is a known bug with them. I posted about this in the tech section a while back. I have had to revert to turn off all seat moving capabilities in the DIC.

looks like for 45k they could get a power seat rt! mine has never worked right and they cant fix it

I jump started a car the other day and the same thing. Lost presets and the seat settings were gone. Love the truck, sometimes hate the bugs.

It started working again all on it's own - Go Figure! Don't know what to say.

I bought the truck new, ordered it with the $1200 seat option which worked until recently, I called GMC 800 # with the same power seat complaint about two weeks ago. Finally received return call from GMC, they said NO FIX, but offered one year free oil changes. I DON'T THINK SO, I want the damn seat to work.
WHAT TO DO?
