Ok just finished my first fuel filter change and it was surprisingly simple Except for the fact that the wire that goes from the water in filter sensor to where it plugs in was totally missing. I just purchased the truck about 4k ago and this was the first change. I have never threw a code and I have not experienced any poor performance. So is this something I need to be concerned with? Any advice? Oh yeah, I put on the new filter, screwed in the sensor, bled the pump and the truck runs fine.

Its something you probally want to have on the truck over the long haul. Too much water and they don't run too good. Is it essential you get it tomorrow probably not.
