Well, 1st you need 3 hands. LOL These suckers have a little spring-loaded pin in em right down next to the top of the seat. You have to hold both those little pins in and at the same time pull up on the headrest. Took me a couple of hours and about 10 beers to get them off the 1st time. Good luck....:D

It's definitely a dexterity test . . . I did it by myself on my 2004 and with an unbent "large" paper clip.

1. Straighten out one leg of the paper clip.

2. Pull head reast up.

3. On side of plastic grommet at top of seat, there will be a little hole.

4. Push clip into hole to release spring clip, and with hand push head rest up.

5. While holding head rest up stick paper clip in second hole.

6. Wa La, head rest slides right out.

Granted typing this was 1,000 times easier than doing it. But it is possible solo!

Yep, the paper clip works on the 08s. You DO need a good strong one. The little hole is on the inside of the left post (looking from the back seat)I raised it up as far as it would go with the button on the right post, pushed in the clip while keeping pressure on the head rest and up it popped.....thanks

Was certainly a pain the first time I did it on my 2004. I haven't put them back in since.

After I got mine out, I took and ground down the last notch on the post to look like the other ones, so that I could pull it out without using 3 hands and 4 letter words. On the back seat anyways, got tired of screwing around to fold the seats down. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

So what about the headrests on the back seats? Are they like the front and can use a paper clip or they different?
