Had my radiator replaced on warranty in 2004.....
Have noticed oil levels down a little...started checking and noticed oily residue
in front of radiator that is blown down and under engine.

Question: Is anything disturbed during a replacement of radiator that would perhaps encourage or potentially cause an oil leak in this area.
Leak is noticeable but not huge. Engine itself does not consume oil...didnt experience any consumption prior to the rad. replacement.

I have had NO GOOD experiences with the dealers here in the US as contrasted with Canadian dealer where I originally bought the truck. I have 43000 miles on truck, rad replaced at about 32000 here in Md.
Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Possible arranty item or should I go to my local mechanic to have fix addressed?

Thanks
Richard

Are you sure it is motor oil and not tranny oil?
Except for your bypass oil system, all oil should be contained within your motor/oil filter. You might be losing oil out the PCV into the intake system. That oil might be leaking out of one of the joints.

could be the breather tube.. my 02 usually has oil resiude on the bottom of the engine as the tube vents on the front PS of the motor..

It may be oil leaking out of the intercooler. Some engines seem to lose oil through the PCV system and it pools in the intercooler and leaks out of the hose fitting.

Definitely is motor oil not tranny fluid. Ill have to clean offf entire area and refocus on exactly what is leaking.
Thanks to all.
