i just had the infamous harness injector problem on my 05-dmax. i have had the edge on my truck since new. I keep it at level 1 or 2 only. my #7 injector went bad as part of the harness problem. dealer said the injectors on 05's are not prone to going bad. dealer said the injector could have gone bad because of the edge.... is this a possiblity????? if so, wouldnt the other 7 go bad as well??? I have had no problems with my edge and motor until now... its been on for approx 55,000 miles.

Just do the Ice pick fix on the harness. The dealers just want to blame anything on aftermarket issues. Had the similar problem while on the road, just used a knife point to punch through the connectors. Runs fine now as long as it wants to start.(separate issue). If you only have 55,000 miles, I would pull the edge and take it to a different dealer to get it fixed under warranty.

i had to have one of my injectors replaced as well but can't remember which one. Eventually aafter about the 3rd or fourth time of taking my truck into them in a bout a months span they decided to replace the injector control module and haven't had a problem since.
