I'm on the road and away from my DM specialist and experienced a P0202 - Injector #2 circuit fault - which in turn flips a P2149 and shuts down the injector control circuit and the other three injectors under its control. My problem is that the diesel tech at the local dealership is at a bit of a loss in ascertaining the fix. He concluded it was an injector and finagled one from somewhere but after puting on a hundred miles or so after the replacement, I got a repeat performance. In other words, a new injector was not the fix.
These guys are trying and doing their best to get me on the road but I think the tech stumbled somewhere in getting through the thirty step diagnostic procedure. If anybody has had a P020X I would appreciate hearing about it and the nature of the fix. I have an appointment with MikeL on Wednesday and would really like to keep it.
