I have a 06 2500 and like alot of gmc/chevy out there my truck got broke into through the driverside door handle key hole with a flathead screwdriver jammed though it. Can i replace the brokin front handle with the driverside rear or is it not going to work?? I tried to do a search and couldnt find a answer?? I would really just like to replace it with a handle with no key hole Thanks in advance for the help

There are directions on how to remove the handle posted. It should be obvious if anything needs to be remove with the new handle. I don't remember ever seeing any post from someone that has done this just talk about doing it. I would go with jimmijammers myself or if your key fob quits you will be calling a lock smith.

I just disconnected my lock rods. I have a lot of faith in my remote. :D
