I went to get a hair cut today the kids stayed in the truck to watch a movie so I left the truck runing so they could have AC. After this I jumped into the truck and ran them thru MC.Ds to eat. When I left there Jumped on the main road to go to lowes my truck started jrking during shifts would not go over 35 was still jumping service engine light came on. I called onstar and they ran a ceck they said the code had something to do with the Engine Tranny and Fuel. Do you all think this could have something to do with the Edge I have had it on for 15,000 miles now no problem I have unhooked it so I can take it in the shop. I just wanted to here hwta you guys had to say. This really sucks as we are hooking up the 5th wheel next weekend to go on a trip now I fear my truck will be in the shop. Please chime in with info.:help:

Ditto on the fuel filter. Unplug the E/J and see how it runs first since the fuel filter is messy work. My E/J died on me, good thing Mama JJ wasn't driving the truck. :o:

I read on another post a couple of months back that we really shouldn't idle these trucks more than 10 minutes. I always thought you left them running like the big truckers do. Something with the injectors, sorry I don't recall the whole post.

Good luck! JJ :)

I change the fuel filter every 5 just to be on the safe side
I just got done cleaning my engine and under the truck with the pressue washer i went to move the truck out of the drive way and the service engine light went off. So I am going to take it for a drive and see what it does. I wonder if I need to have my Edge reflashed?

This won’t help, but I leave mine running here in the Desert for an hour at a time for a variety of reason, one it hot and I need the air on. The other I left my furl filter in for 20k no problems, I will have to say it runs like a new truck since I did change the filter. Wait, it is a new truck - OK it now runs like a ( fill in your own best ride here )

You go Deere hunting? Bet that pisses the local farmers off. Most hunters around here stick to deer or elk.

naw i don't do any deere hunting, but i do go deer hunting. it is fun to see my dad take his gleaner L3 and go faster and do a better job than one of those brand new deere (this is only in wheat)

those new combines will flat out fly in corn.
