Whenever my ac light is on whether running the heat or ac it seems like every time the compressor kicks on i get this nasty raddle. i changed my accesory drive belt less then a year ago witch fixed the problem but would my belt stretch out that fast?

Check the clutch and bearings. These can be replaced without removing or replaceing the entire unit. Just remove the belt and pop the clutch and pulley off and install a new set.

If that is the problem, there could be internal bearings gone out, but I am betting the clutch plates have lost a rivet or two.

Check the tensioner. Mine was going bad. Not the pulley but the spring. If I stepped on the brakes, turned the wheels at low speed, and/or ran the A/C compressor the serpentine belt would rattle like heck. Checked the tensioner and could move it down easily with my hand. Changed it and we're all good again.

Note! The dealer wanted $160!!! for the tensioner. My local Kragen Auto Parts had it for $48. I couldn't tell any difference from the original and the Kragen one. Both made in Canada with the same numbers on them.

Kragen have the whole assembly? Arm, bearing, and metal wheel?

Yes. They tried to sell me the wheel first. Specify the tensioner assembly.
