DieselSlug 03-13-2009, 10:57 PM Im trying to free the wastegate on the new 6.5 i bought. I cant move the vacuum canister rod at all, the gate seems to be rusted shut (been sitting for 3 years). I am eventually going to take the turbo off, so how would i go about freeing the gate?? I would remove the Spring lock washer that locks the rod in the Gate arm and then the rod from the Gate.
