What configuration do you have for a pickup? An extended cab short box runs an 8.4 0-60 STOCK.

I assume you mean you're getting a lot of turbo lag out of the hole that the LLY's are known for. Best way to solve this is do a boosted launch, i.e. hold break on and rev engine up to about 2000rpm then let er go. I don't have the attitude myself but from what I hear, doing this will start the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times from when you touch the gas.

Indirectly related I was under the dash of my truck the other day and noticed a large imprint on the carpet under the go pedal, has anyone checked TPS with carpet and mats under pedal. I know throttle is elctronic but if it isnt all the open it isnt all the way open.

A couple of different things.

On the LB7 you reset your oil by pressing the throttle to the wide open position 3 times in 5 seconds. If your oil will not reset then it is avery good indiacator your throttle is not opening all the way. I just moved my floor mat back, today.

On my Lb7 there was quite alot of turbolag with a Juice module on 90HP.

When I installed a 90HP downloader it went away. So I think a downloader helps turbolag more then a module.

this AKA a boosted launch. Hold the brake peddle down hard and run the go peddle until you get a min of 10lbs of boost on the attitude (if equipped). Then release the brake and floor it without letting off the go peddle.

what is the edge set on , try one on setting 5 with low boost on 5, my lb7 can get a 0-60 at 6.8 on the attitude. thats without a boosted launch. if I build boost i get to much tire spin to get a good time
