do a search on my name i posted pics,or there are many others on here, tie a piece of dental floss on the clip that holds the rod to the wg,take the can off,cut it in half, grind the end off, take out the spring, tread the rod,10/24 or 12/24,i used a 3/4 dia. spring about 2 1/4 '' i think ,drill and tape a hole in the intake just past the rubber hose, put in a boost gauge,or any machanical gauge you have laying around, put it back together i set mine at 10 psi

I looked at your profile, but cant find any pictures. If you could get them to me,that'd be great. You can email me at bhfab_motorsports@yahoo.com. Also interested in seeing that set-up for hi idle. Thanks

cheap way is to add a spring to what you got.

as for the high idle yours wont be as simple as my 93,mine has a high idle solenoid on the pump, just ran a hot wire to a toggle then to the green wire on the solenoid

The one issue to remember is that as soon as the ECM sees boost over what the software says is ok it will set the MIL light and then defuel if the issue does not resolve.

You can use a boost fooler to stop this but from this point you need to remember that you are the only thing between your heavy foot and a melted engine.

Gauges, both a pyro and a boost gauge are needed.

The additional boost will do little without a chip to properly add more fuel and adjust timing etc.

A good chip can really help these things perform and it also eliminates the anoying defueling issue.

Also, do you have an "F" or "S" engine?
The "F" will be more forgiving, and you can eliminate the vac.
system entirely
