Just bought an peripheral for my factory head unit. Finally got it to work, but, when the ipod is not plugged in there is a constant ticking sound that goes through the speakers. Anyone else heard of this? No noise when the ipod is plugged in. Also when i use the seek back button on the steering wheel it sends me back to the main menu on my ipod. There are a few more small issues that i may have, but ill start with this. Thanks for any help.

It may not make you feel any better, but I have some issues with the USASPEC to interface with my 4th gen nano and my wifes 2003 tahoe. I don't think either product (peripheral or USASPEC) is perfect, so I guess you live with the one that bothers you the least. Good luck with it.
