What is the max egt that you guys and gals would go with the 6.5 liter diesel?

I'd start backing my foot out at 900*F pre-turbine, although 1250*F is the redline limit. Pistons crack when they get that hot.

That is what i thought , thanks QM i am bidding on a 1200 max egt gauge so that would be great.
