has anybody done their own mindow tint? i'd like to match the drivers and passengers door windows tint to the tint in the back window and rear side windows. do u have to take the windows out? is it worth being professionally done? thanks!

unless you have some experience with tinting i would leave it to a professional. i had my whole truck done except for the windshield for less than $200.

X2 I tried it on my Dmax and two weeks later it just peeled off. It was lazer cut to fit the windows already and it was easy to put on but it didn't last.

Pay for it,stimulate the economy lol.But I know they make it look so easy but its not and hey get good grade tint material.Plus a warranty.

Ive done a ton of windows, myself... If you dont have alot of time, you may
just want to have someone do it for ya... Its alot cheaper doing it urself, but also sumtimes can get perfect... How are the cops in your area with having tinted windows???

Always remember the cheap film WILL turn purple! get the good stuff, GET 3M
have it done..... If you get 3M film it will have a lifetime warranty so go to a shop that hopefully isn't going to close down in this economy
And if the film fades(3-4 years) they will redo it for free, so its a way better deal then getting Cheap film from Kragens or wherever and having it turn purple in less than a year!
