Ok I'm getting my V2 set up to log with and I saw mention of a. dtc file. I only have b, c, p, and u is that right?

I didn't see a.dtc on a screen shot of another user's so there doesn't seem to be one.

I have the pmm files loaded, but can't find the PIDs. Do I have to select them first in the Scan tool? I was checking PIDs through laptop, but it wouldn't pull up the the trans PIDs the ECM would just come up again. I didn't have the AL6 pmm in the V2 yet if that matters.

in the Options.txt file there are already some pre-defined pids that should get you started

Ya I'm also using a options.ini file that Bio posted in the thread about checking trans strength. Do I need both, then I just had just the .ini it said I need a txt to select pids. If that is the case to add more pids to I put them in the txt file or a/the ini file? I want to log Actual rail PSI, but didn't see it in the pid description file. Can we not BBL it?

Never mind I found FRP, but I'm still wondering about the ini and txt files questions.

yes an update or two ago was when that file got a work over and you need the options.txt file not the ini file now. the formatting of the options.* was completely revamped, however 99.9% of all of the pids remain the same so it you want to log the pids out of your old ini just copy and paste them to the txt file
