I recently came across a 2004 Silverado 2500HD RCLB w/ 27,150 miles. I test drove it and I really like the truck. The dealer is asking 26,995 and will pay off my current truck loan (12,800) for my 2000 Silverado. I've been trying to talk them down a bit but they haven't gave in yet. My question is
Is 27k a decent price for an 04 LB7 w/ just over 27 thousand miles? It is a regular cab w/ an allison auto. Should I put up the cash or keep looking for a better deal? Any help would be appreciated
thanks
look for a better deal, for that price you can get a EC or CC 03' maybe 04' with similar or slightly higher mileage

Don't do that deal bro, I took my '03 LB7 EC to a dealer the other day, it has 24k miles and tons of add ons, mostly highway miles, well maintained... etc and they offered me 23,700. I bet that dealer got the truck in a trade for around $23,000 and wants to make a pretty penny off your bank. How much work does an '04 Dmax trade in need? probably less than $1000

My brother brought a 2004 3500 SRW SC Long bed LS for $28,000 out the door, taxes and lic. included.
I brought my 2003 new, see sig. for $32,000. You might try and sell your truck and then buy , you can get a better deal. If you trade, they will give you wholesell and sell retail.

I would seriously consider buying theBac's truck--but I have to get rid of this truck first. The only reason I would buy from a dealer would be because of the no hassle of selling, but after getting all this helpful insight it made me realize, the dealer IS trying to **** me worse than I thought they were. I would love to buy a brand new truck but I cant afford it. Anyways thanks guys for the help...I'll continue looking and hopefully sell my truck soon
