1.) Does K&N filters do as good a job as the more expensive aFe and AEM filters? I have heard rumors that K&N owners found grit in their turbos after taking their K&N filters off. Just Wondering:cool:

2.) Does AEM make air intake systems for the 6.5T? If so, where can they be found?:confused:

I don't remember where I saw it, but there was a study done on air filters, and they found that K&N filters tend to work better when dirty. Unfortunatly to get to that point, a lot of dirt passes the filter and enters the system and once it does get to that point, intake volume and flow is restricted. The most interesting thing I saw was that the OEM air filters were among the best as far as filtering goes. The air flow may be slightly reduced, but a few mods to the air box will make the intake top notch.
