What am I missing? I have pulled the two bolts from the bottom of the starter but it is still holding it's ground. Is there another hidden magic bolt somewhere, if so where the heck is the blasted thing and how do I get to it?

Don't forget the rear mounted support bracket. And DON't forget to put it back on when going back in with the starter too.

I was afraid you were gonna say that, I can't even see it let alone take it off...lol
I am open to tips, tricks and instruction on this one.

should be a stud on the rear of the starter ( facing forward of the engine as you look at it). Remove the nut and loosen the bolt into the block. Might have to work with your eyes closed, (Work by feel) lower the starter and disconnect the wires. OH Before you start removing it be sure to dissconect the batteries, either the positive or negivtive cables but don't forget to do both batteries

Easy to see if you remove the front wheel and pull the splash guard but still a PITA to remove/install. Don't forget to use a jack stand!

Anyone got one of those support brackets for sale. I need one. I had mine break a bolt off in the block. So YES they are needed even though they are a pain to put back on.
