I've gone through the search motions without a whole lot of luck, as it seems like most of the discussion is on the new duramax trucks.

I've got a '98 (classic body style) 2500 2wd and am dying to ditch the tiny 245/70r16s.

I would like to pick up a set of PYO's with decent tires, but from my research it looks like they have slightly more offset? (not even a .5 inch difference?)

I have seen people run 285s on stock 90's k5 blazers and z71s, would a 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton have just as much room in the wheel wells?

My brother has my factory 16" PYO"s and 245's on his 99 CC 3/4 ton. No issues lock to lock. I can't see there being a problem running 285's

My boss has a couple old 285s lying around, I guess I'm gonna see if I can borrow one and mount it up and see how it's gonna work. I'll let you guys know what I find, if anyone is paying attention. :p:

Been trying to find a 285 to use for the same purpose...
