jerkyboy 03-02-2009, 08:13 AM I noticed my tranny makes a clunking type noise when shifting from park to drive first thing in the morning when it's really cold. This morning I warmed up the truck for about 10 minutes before leaving the house and it didn't do it. I'm not concerned about it. Just to be safe, check your u-joints. 06dmax82 03-05-2009, 02:25 AM It just takes a second for cold thick fluid to get into the rotating clutch module when dropped into drive, same when going into reverse for C3 clutch.
