Over the last week or two I have been paying attention to my oil pressure guage on initial startup(cold). After the engine fires it takes about 5 seconds for the guage to move. I have never looked at this before and was wondering if you guys could take a look at yours and let me know if it is the same for you.

Mine is more like three seconds if actually timed, I am not sure how that equates to the actual pressure coming up. I think there is a delay from actual pressure to the guage moving. Both my trucks respond about the same.

There is a delay in my '05 and my Dad's '04.5 as well. Must be normal?
