Anyone know what's up with this? Had to take my trk to the dealer last week, took the truck back to stock and locked out the plug. The engine light was on thoght that's ok due to no dpf. Got the truck back and put back to level 3 witch even before the dealer seems to lock up and I have to restart anyway just been slow to load. Now I have the tune loaded but still have a check engine light with 3 codes with I can't clear. And the remote won't start it just pops off for a few secs then shuts off ?
Does it need to go back? I've sent 2 emails to PPE (bryne) to help but no reply. Ha should email I want to buy something then I'll get a response j/k Ty mike

2455, 0546, 2033 been driving it all weekend with them. Just don't clear them with the tuner.

Mine is showing exactly those same 3 DTC codes, per Quadzilla.
Been running Quad's +50, DPF lost, no problems for 15,000 miles;
Last week truck shows CEL, refuses to start, or even to spin the starter;
It just cycles thru system testing all dash warning lights, then shows CEL again.
Occasionally reports, "Service the battery charging system."
Always reports, "Service trailer brake system."
Truck is totally tits-up ... stuck-dead in the garage;
No startee, no movvee, no lovee!


I think code 2455 means OnStar communications not working.
Not sure what the other codes mean.
Quadzilla cannot clear these codes, though it does report "Codes Reset."
But the identical codes are still there upon rechecking.
Yes, I did have get the Stealer's ECM reflash some months ago.

did you get the tuner reflashed before you had the truck reflashed?

the update to you truck includes a new calibration that the ppe does not recognize.

i had all the same stuff happen with it stock and then the next day it started via the remote start and ran fine for several months. then it did it again weeks after I had moded the truck. the dealer said there was some prob that they have been seeing that required "updating the trucks computers" that sounded silly but have not had any issues since. have also performed even more mods since and all is well.

I have been running PPE for a while I took the trk in for a leaking sunroof. I locked the obd conector out to where they could not plug into it. The tuner has been updated. It seems not to be working with the truck. While after one try the dash did say service trailer system to? Just acting wierd extra headlight flashing too.

Are you running a second ECM?

Nope no 2nd ECM. Did you mean did I replace the stock one ? Nope just did the same old thing. Just seems that the PPE and truck arint on the same page.

I would suggest you plug the EGT and psi sensor box back in and secure the thermocouples and tubes. This will keep the connectors clean also.

ok talked to a helpfull ppe looks like im a few updates behind, no biggie just send it in as for the remote start issue might have to have the dealer clear them out thanks

if the truck has thrown a code the remote start is not supposed to work at all. mine will start and then immediately shut off again. tech said that is the way it is supposed to work if there is a code. mine was from mass air sensor getting oil from new k&n. bob r

Those exact three codes came up on my truck when I set the truck back to stock and took it in to get the ECM updated. My Quad deleted the codes and I uploaded the Quad tunes back on the truck afterwards. Been like that for a few thousand miles now, no codes, no issues. Something must be going on with the connections/PPE updates. Chris

thanks d/a. i have not sent the tuner in yet its still sitting on the bench. the truck is back to stock though. one day ill get it in the mail to ppe. i do think i had the truck updated last fall? its at the dealer now ill pick it up tomarrow and see. do you think after ppe updates the tuner it will be able to clear them three codes?thanks.

just looked up had my truck in for a v1819 reprogram ecm-recall 08142 at 6192miles last sept. is that the update that is the newest? thanks mike

Had the same stuff happen to me, DFP is gone. Truck showed a 0000 code, and went into reduced engine power, Auto start would fire and run for a secound then shut off. I have no DFP,5"back of DFP pipe, PPE hotrace+2 and Transco JR kit. When I put the truck back to stock it had reduced engine power Felt like a golf cart. Dealer went through a bunch of stuff and had no fix. When I got home I forced a DFP burn and cancelled al codes, now the truck runs fine and want to regen every tank or so. Anyway to stop the regen cycle?
