Hey guys what psi do I need to run in my tires when racing? I've run 65psi and 55psi and I spun both times... 60 ft times were in the 1.94 -1.96 range I need to get my times down, and yes I know I need smaller tires and more of a street tread or cheater slick. I'm working on it..just need to sale a few things to help out with the funds. Thanks

35-40 in the front depending on tires, and 25-30 rear.

Every tire and tire-size is differant..........but you are certainly too high on pressure. As stated, I would start at 32 front and 26 rear (give-or-take). You can get too low and be riding on the outside edge of the tire...........that's not good either. Start high and keep dropping in 2lb. increments until you get what you want. And BTW, if track prep is no-good...........don't expect miracles!:D

50-55? dang i dont even run that pressure on the street. i usually keep mine at about 40 psi all around, maybe thats why my mpgs suck though haha. on the strip my psi is set to 35 front and 30 rear. do be honest id try to find out the max psi you could run without turning your tires over. start around 40 and test her out see if she spins, let a little air out if it does.
