Been reading threads re airhorn installations and studied schematic provided onsite. However, most (and the diagram) are for 03 and later. I'm concerned that the wiring technology change for 03s (and later) would not apply to the 01/02s.
I've installed an airhorn and relay and have everything inplace w/exception of splicing into the horn wire.
Someone mentioned unlatching of the underhood fusebox and 'flipping it upsidedown'? I removed a brace, unlatched and short of a crowbar, it moved not much. Diagrams for 03 shows the wire I need as black/green. Is it the same for the 02's?
As I understand it, there is a like wire going to the BCU. But where is the BCU?
Any help would be appreciated ~

All you gotta do is get a mini fuse adapter flange (Not sure exactly what they're called, but Auto parts stores should) and attach it to your factory horn fuse. Then get a terminal to slip on the spade and hot wire it in there.

Go to the this link: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12804&page=17&pp=10&highlight=headlight+mod
Post #166 has some pictures, and the "grey area" in post #168 explains it.
You might as well do the headlight mod http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/rockon.gif while your under there.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/cool2.gif

Txguppy ~ thanks for the response. I'm fused and ready to go. Just needed directions (yeh, reassurance) on how to get under the fuseblock to access the horn wire to provide the horn switch grnd for the relay coil. That particular wire isn't fused for a typical fuse type tap. I'm guessing it'll be going to the oem horn relay so I'll be looking there to splice. I've added the horns w/its own circuit only sharing the horn button as I've keeping the oem horns operational still.
Grey ~ major thanks for the link ~ wow! one long thread. I see its about a mod to keep lo/hi's on at the same time. I've the Kennedy harness already and enjoy the feature ~ but wonder if it would conflict w/the Kennedy harness function to apply the grnd for the lite mod? Near as I can see is an advantage of eliminating the kennedy harness diode ~ I may leave well enuff alone and just do the horn thingy.
Again thanks ~ pix's are a great help ~
