I've currently got a bone stock 09 gmc 2500 hd, and just ordered a set of h2 rims for it, i want to put 305s on it, and i wanted to be on the safe side and go with the wider rim. The question i have, is what will i need to do about the tire pressure sensors? me and my buddy will probably mount the tires ourself, can you just swap the sensors somehow? i wouldn't mind keeping the pressure readings in my console display if possible...any help or reccomendatins would be appreciated

If the 09's are like th 08's the TPMS's screw to the back of the valve stem. These valve stems are special in that they have a small stud sticking out of them. You'll need to get a set of these from GM as I don't think you can get them anywhere else.
This is what I did on my 08' when I swapped to H2's.

You will also need to go to the dealer, or find somebody with a tech 2 to recalibrate the TPMS hi/low pressure default, as the air pressures on the H2's w/305's will be lower than the factory tire/wheel combo and will set off the warning in the DIC.

i bolted up my h2's which came with TPMS sensors the h2's i got were 08's...did the lil procedure to reset the sensors..and even at 65 psi which my tires call for...no warning lights...
