I got $3000 more than what the dealer offered me and took about 2 and a half months to sell. I am probably going to order a truck this friday the 15th. I'm assuming it will be an 05'. Either way, I'm excited and It looks like I should recieve it around the beginning of June..correct? Reineke 04-13-2005, 03:28 AM Congrats, it's a nervous wait, especially the 2-3 week wait for the TPW. Once you get the TPW, you relax until that week, then you are harassing the dealer and waiting to hear from Howard for the baby announcement. Once you have a VIN, it really gets wild. When you get the shipping notice and are able to follow it along, you'll be up all night and day tracking the truck on the train. Then there is a few days for unloading and shipping from the yard to the dealer. Then dealer prep... It's all worth it knowing that the truck was built for you and it wasn't left unloved at the dealer for very long. Ringer68 04-13-2005, 05:21 AM Just picked mine up Monday. It's an 05 Sierra 2500HD crewcab 4x4 with the duramax. XM, Bose, towing mirrors, cloth buckets, dual zone. I get to pick it up Monday morning. Now I get to look forward to paying an extra $.30 a gallon for diesel...
