Have an 06 Sierra D/A Power pup set on tow setting (40hp). Trading truck in TODAY!!! Went to re-set back to stock setting and truck is now stuck in RECOVERY MODE.....will not start or do anything. When I plug in the programmer it informs me that the vehicle needs to be recovered....I do the recovery process and when it gets to 1% it seems to freeze.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

How long have you left it on while it seems to be frozen? I had to do this one time and not sure of the exact amount of time, but it was much longer then the normal program install. I did the same as you as I thought it was stuck so I unplugged it. So I tried it again and just went inside and ate some lunch and played on computer. went back out 45min or so later and it was done. or just call BD and see what they say.

Thanks For your reply.....I tried it like 30 times. Kept getting "vehicle in recovery mode" and would advance to 1% and then freeze. I went back 2 hours later and it worked fine. Trading truck in on Monday. Thanks Again.
