Have any of you used the lund eclipse IN CHANNEL window vents? Looks like it might be better than the 3m tape style. Any pros or cons...

I use the in channel window vents and love them. The 3M tape style do look nice, but have issues. With time the 3M will separate from the tape, causing flapping noise in the wind as you drive. If you ever take them off, because of damage from flying debris, it leaves a mark on the paint from where it was installed. Plus removing the excess tape is no fun thing to do.

In-channels, on the other hand, easily pop in and pop out. Makes for easy replacement, if needed, and if you don;t like them, you could always remove them and sell them to someone else so you aren't out for a total loss.

I've had mine in for over a year now and have had no issues with them.

check out the "Weather Tech" in channel deflectors .. I tried the lund deflector "smoked" and I didnt like them because they increased the size of the "blind spot" the windshield piller already creates...From the inside looking out , they were almost black

The Weather tech (lightly) smoked ones are actually see thru from inside the truck but smoked on the outside ...I ...So they didn't increase the blind spot at all... I also liked the way they "milled" the edge thinner where they insert into the window channel.....Try them ...You'll like them

How well does the window close on them (I guess it fits in the same groove)? Any wind noise, fit issues, etc.?

Can the front Weathertech deflectors, be heated and reformed to fit with TTT-mirrors mounted. Like the ventshade/GM tape mounted deflectors (found out after modifying the end my ventshade to fit with the TTT-mirrors ).

Having the rear deflector bonded to the Glass doesn't seem like it will stop the rain/snow from getting in with the rear windows open?

Thanks

The front Weathertechs fit fine with the TTTs. No reforming needed on my truck.
