Not sure where to post this??

Some times Like if Im getting on the interstate or somewhere with a long hard pull my truck will go into this type of safe mode and wont go over 2000rpm's unless i shut down the motor and turn the key off for exactly 2 min.

What is this???

it used to to this more often before I installed 4 inch straight turbo back exhaust and a full intake

Do you have anykind of tuner. It sounds like limp mode. Do a search for limp mode and see if its what your truck is doing.

Your engine went into reduce power mode. It can happen for a number of reasons. I had it happen after getting a bad tank of fuel which clogged the fuel filter up pretty bad.

Is the truck throwing a code if so what is the code.

Running a PPE, No codes only does it on hard pulls 3/4 or full throttle pulls of about a mile. The egts never get over 1200
