Anyone heard if the VADA Turbo 3000? Here is the website.
http://www.turbo3000d.com/index.asp
A friend of mine placed it on his big rig and it did seem to do as it claimed. According to the website, they are still in development for the Duramax at this time. They still have to develop the 7.3 PSD as well.
If this thing comes out, it should increase our mpg's as less fuel will be left unburned. Man I hope they come up with an installation kit for our trucks.
What does everyone else think about it?

My buddy drove his big truck and got good results. He went 1000 miles on a half tank. I do't know what the tests may show but if it proves itself, then we are in for something good. I would only do it if I can get 2-4 mpg increase. I do alot of driving, 75000 miles the first year and would love to see something to help increase it.

The TURBO3000D works to improve atomization by creating a change in the travel pattern of the fuel, prior to the fuel injector. TURBO3000D provides the fuel injector with an efficient delivery of fuel reducing all of the effects which create streaming at the fuel injector. Fuel rail pressure equalization is also achieved by this change in fuel travel action, leading to a smoother idle, and a quieter running engine.
Since we have a high pressure common rail this would be a great improvement, my juice on 5-5 won't smoke anymore.
Life is good.

this has already been developed for the Dmax.
Diesel Fuel Saver $199.00
GM Duromax kit $35.00

last time I saw streaming fuel at an injector it cut a hole THROUGH the piston, but it was on a 290 cummins.
All I see is SCAM.

Could someone give a discription of this or show a picture?
Much appreciated.

this concept has been out for a while.. here is another one that does the same thing.
If it really does work then I would probably invest in it.

FYI there is a related thread in the Power and Performance section.
If you want to see what it looks like, then go to their website and look at the bottom of the page for the two patents they list. Then go to www.uspto.gov (http://www.uspto.gov) and do a patent search by number and you'll be able to pull it up.
The bottom line is, the explanation is scientifically fishy, and the data they use in support is lousy. There is no statistical significance offered in any of the literature or in any of the testimonies either there or here.
Complete b u l l s h i t if you ask me.

Come on guys what a BS, crap...you name it! The fuel atomization depends on the Bosch Common Rail injection system (fuel pressure, injector design....) and NOT on a piece of misterious pipe somewhere in the fuel line. If that would be possible Bosch or the other manufacturers of fuel injection systems would have invented it decades ago...
I pity the people who believe in such nonsense and waste their money and time.... as long it sounds complicated enough people seem to think it might even work....
