: Ticking from oil filler neck is this normal? greif03lb7 02-24-2009, 09:46 PM I took my oil filler cap off with the truck running today and there is a tick/od noise coming from inside if it. I think my injecters are bad it it at the dealer getting checked right now could that be my noise? It sounds internal but I have never takin the cap off with the truck running before so i did'nt know if it was normal. You can't hear the noise at all with the cap on or just your hand over the filler neck opening. Your probably ok, that's where all the timing gears are, if you cant here them when its on your prolly ok! Are you sure that tranny is stock????? Most stock trannys melt behind that kinda power. And if you are telling the truth more power to ya but I'm not doubting you but I find that hard to believe i mean come on 523hp + stock tranny= OUCH:eek::(!!!! I thought I had a strong stock tranny...........I drive the $hit outta it though at 450/900 though. I'd probally kill it with numbers Matt put down | ||
