I have an 06 duramax when i go to start it cold the light won't go out but it will start the code glow plug #4 ciri failed, is it a very hard job to change a glow plug. Thanks

2nd one from the front on the passenger side. I've had the wheel well liner off on the drivers side and they are right in front of you,I would assume the same on the passenger side.The liner comes off easy enough.

They're not too hard, but if they are still under warranty, I would have the service center do it. That way there is a paper trail for the failure and subsequent repair. If that kind of stuff matters to you for future re-sale.

If I remember correctly-- # 4 is the second one on the driver's side. These are numbered opposite from the Chev gas engines. :)

driver is (from the front) 2, 4, 6, 8
passenger is (from the front) 1, 3, 5, 7
