Had truck in tow/haul, started violent surge at idle. Pulled code 0193 high fuel rail pressure. Changed fuel filter. Truck ran the same, could not erase the trouble code. Now truck will not run.

Fuel pressure regulator could be stuck, commanding max rail pressure from cp3. You need to hook up to a scan tool and pull real time data. Bleed pressure from rail and see if truck will start.
