I just googled it real quick and there is a place called southwestgeardotcom that has the replacement for under 100 bones. Find out which gear ratio your 3rd gear is. There is two of them.

I know this probably isn't the answer you are looking for, but why not try shifting without the clutch?
Pull the shifter out of Second, move it towards third, don't jam it in, just put a little pressure on it, and it will fall into third when it is ready. No grinding, and no clutch.
My brother's Jeep Wrangler was grinding in all gears. I told him to hold off until it warmed up outside and then we'd see what a rebuilt one cost.
He would double clutch to get it into first, and then upshift the rest of the gears without the clutch. He did this for a few months before buying a new one. When the dealer took it for a test drive, they couldn't drive it. They offered him next to nothing for it, he kept it, now it looks like I still will be fixing it. But I digress.
Yeah, if it is just one gear, try shifting without the clutch. If you get the hang of it, then you may be able to drive it for a long time before other gears start grinding, and it will buy you some time to find a suitable replacement.

I have the same problem with my nv4500, and have tried what you said to do before. I wouldn't do it, I can do it in all the other gears but not going into third
