I returned to a parking lot yesterday to find that the On-Star antenna on my truck had decided to part company with the rest of the truck. I got a new one today at the dealer. At $26, I'd like the new one to stick around for a while.

The thing just screws on to the antenna base. Does anyone have an idea of how to attach them permanently? Maybe some sort of conductive adhesive?

You can use either red locktite or superglue either shouldn't impair the antenna
