I think I have seen your truck for sale on the Autotrader like yesturday, I'm almost sure my mom was looking at it. And yes, I live pretty close by. About 20 minutes south of Sarnia, Brigden to be exact. I've been to Chatham a number of times.

What kind of work are you looking to have done?

I haven't heard of a place around here yet that I would trust to do any engine work on my 6.5 diesel. I'd say most all the upgrades for these trucks are easy to do yourself, like relocating the PMD, changing ECM's, putting an aftermarket intake on it, installing a Turbo-Master, etc.

I used Chatham Fuel Injection to get my new injectors and GM-8 turbocharger.

If you need help doing some work on it, or tools, I can help you out, but I don't have any vehicles on the road right now to drive down to Chatham.

Hi guys

I see I have neighbors.
I in Stoney Point myself.
Glad to kind of meet you.

Just failed my emission test due to black smoke when kicked down.
Not a big gushing cloud like you see these busses blow but still it is there.

Asked the guy now what.
His reply was spend lots of money fixing this one or buy another!!!
This truck has run fine for me so I will be looking at doing some work on it.
Got a feeling I'll need injectors.
340,000 KM on the truck and I have very little repair history before I bought it at about 290,000 km 8 years ago. Retired 5 years ago so it doesn't get used a lot as you can see ( 50,000 in 8 years).
I also get a big puff of white smoke at startup but it is gone in seconds.
During the winter it was a never ending large cloud of smoke till warmed up so looks like glow plugs as well while I'm at it. I'll be checking Chatham Fuel Injection for parts. Thanks for tip. :).
I don't know much about diesels but I'll sure try.

Anyway enough of me rattling off about my trucks problem.
Nice to meet you.
