AutoZone or OReilly or Napa should have it.

It is called OPS socket.

I highly reccomend the lisle brand ops switch, its fits better than the snap off...uh snap on. I say snap off because thats what happened when I used their socket. I love snap on, I own several thousand dollars worth of their tools but the best socket is the lisle 3/8 drive fits ALL the way on with zero play, and I didnt have to move the filter housing...

The oil pressure switch used in the diesel is the same switch in a lot of the gas burners. So your local auto parts should have it.

If you have a welder handy, I made mine, I cut a deep socket in half and welded a piece pipe in the middle.

I just took one back to Autozone. It was too small (barely) for my OPS, both the old OPS and the new OPS.

Well I have been in AutoZone, Advance and Discount Auto, neither have the right one.
It is supposed to be 27mm. What I found at Advance was a 27mm deep socket but not deep enuf for the OPS.
I see the Lisle on their web site but cannot find one here in Florida.
I am also not a welder:mad: Sure wish I had learned how when I was younger though.
Now my brain matter is kind of soft :p:
Thanks for the comments.

I bought mine at orilleys.

But I ended up using a 1-1/16" wrench and bent the end of it. Mine is located in a different spot then yours.

Go and get a "sink" wrench. Its used to remove the lock nut on kitchen sink faucets. Its made to get into tight places. You will find that it is very well suited to this task.

Just take the GP controller out, you will have full access to the OPS.

It is right underneath it.

I used an open end inserted at an angle. The special socket will not work on my truck because the intake manifold is in the way.

Well Guys, I drove from Fort Myers to Melbourne today to change the OPS.:p: I had a 27mm OPS Deep Socket(Chrome) from Sears, a 1 1/16" OPS Deep Socket (Chrome) from Auto Zone and a sink tool from HD.
None of the above would work, the 27mm was too small, the 1 1/16" was too big, Now go figure, 27mm = 1 1/16" yet one was too small and the other too big.
The sink tool was also too small.
I went to Advance Discount Auto there in Melbourne and picked up a 1 1/16 OPS Deep Socket (impact) and it fit.:)
Took 10 minutes to change the OPS.
Will be bringing the truck home later this week and plan on installing the relay.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Love this Place. You folks do a great service
