: U1000 Max Payne 04-11-2005, 08:17 PM U codes can happen at random, for no good reason, sometimes hooking up a Tech 2 can cause them. Unless there is a current problem, ignore them. If there were a current U1000, you would have no communication with the PCM, and would be unable to read any of the parameters. Is this the case?
