what benefits, if any, are there to running a lift pump or fass type system on a stock truck? worth the $$?

Gain some MPG and it is definitly alot better on your CP3 cause it doesn't have to work as hard.

Many notice better throttle response. When you CP3 commands more fuel, there is fuel there. You don't have to wait for the CP3 to draw the fuel in.

while searching for info, i read alot of people referring to '1/4 tank issues'...what do you folks mean by this?

i dont think youll benefit at all. ive got my truck returned to stock right now but the lift pumps are still on and functioning. definitely no increase in MPG. like JD said, meager if any.

something about keeping your tank above 1/4 to prevent starvation i believe

If the draw straw is cut to short, it has trouble picking up fuel under 1/4 tank.

I think it is who ever installed the draw straw didn't put it in correctly.

It will help with priming when you change your filter!
