Installed my Transgo Jr last night. Most guys say they made very little mess and the install took only 1 1/2 hours.
My install took 4 1/2 hours and my garage looks like a murder scene!
I drained the pan and then removed all of the pan bolts only to find the cover wouldn't budge. So I reached for a small prybar and bam..... down she came. I don't know how much atf was left in there but it flew everywhere. So now the entire garage floor and undercarriage are covered in nasty ATF. SO I cleaned most of that up andwas looking at the filter to see if it had some type of retainer and once again bam. More shit everywhere. The rest of the install went fine except for one issue with the seperator plate which I will discuss with MikeL in a PM.
Filled her up, checked fluids, and test drove. No codes were thrown and shifting seems to be firming up.
